How do you get more website traffic to static websites? seeing as you cant just post blogs all day and hope for natural traffic.
Stores can never be static - no matter what you sale . If you're store stays there and doesn't get an update per month - minimum you're gonna gt nothing . As for webdesign don't even bother , you need to be a design god and a coder from hell to make a decent profit that or have a blade edge team working with you . For both marketing should be a max damage campaign , gigatons of SEO , contests , incredible prices (word of mouth) , promotion on niches sites and via targeted ads systems . Also newspapers and for stores (radio and tv) . For those type of websites the sky is the limit .
Driving traffic towards a website is the same for static and dynamic websites. You should implement all the methods you know. try to grab some quality backlinks for your website post it on social networks like facebook and twitter for more targeted traffic.

Its VERY VERY important to keep on updating your store every week. I once had an ecommerce website that i didnt update for a while and had no sales, but when i did update it every week things started flying off the shelf! Try and write some related articles or blog posts on the website that are full of keywords. Also, as i keep saying on this forum, get as many high quality back links as possible!!!
