    I am planning to bring a new website to my existing website home page for the promotion of products, having different name url.Is there any problem if we are adding another website to the home page? How it effect SEO? Is it good? Please tell me the opinions.

    Can be good, domain already has some domain age in that case so better than put it on totally new domain..

    Could you please elaborate a bit.. Are you trying to put a link of your new website in the homepage of the existing one or are you trying to redirect the old domain name to the new one?

    Actually I cant follow the question. If you are adding a link of new site as back-link of it in your existing site, that will be good to get indexing your site fastly and will get good traffic to new site.
