    Currently my company is listing in first page in google search results. Is there any problem if I am changing the description of home page, how it affect my search and SEO?

    If you change the description of your home page, you will not lose your position in google search results. Changing keywords and backlinks will affect your search.

    It is not affecting. Keywords and backlinks are the most important thing, if you do not change these two, it doesn't matter.

    If you are getting a first page ranking in google, I suggest that you do not change a thing in your homepage. Any changes could have a big impact on your rankings especially your keywords and your homepage's main content. I do have experience on SEO, so I highly suggest that you get your "hands off" for a while....

    By changing the content of the website site there will be no effective on the ranking but may get better in future if the change is made with better content quality.Keyword and backlinks directly effect the ranking of a website.

    Yeah, I think you should be okay as long as you don't mess or change around with keyword or backlinks. But if it were me I would create another page in the web just for another descriptions.

    There is no problem in the changing of content. But add only unique content don't use duplicate content
