How to market my website

I am working on a website for one of my fashion models. The website will have pictures and videos and content. I need to figure out how to send lots of traffic to the site fast. Interest in some ideas and methods people have.

 

Do more in SEO and try to have more backlinks, integrate as well with social networking like facebook and twitter. As well try do some forums on related topic and do some yahoo answers.

 

If it is a new site, then start creating accounts in social bookmarking sites which are given in the addthiss widget. Bookmark your pages one after other, everyday in these social networking sites. Keep adding friends on these sites and eventually do some cross bookmarking too. Simultaneously create a fan page on Facebook and update the fan page with one image or a video everyday. Also add friends on Facebook too.

I would advice never fall for any fake traffic or fans package anywhere on the net. The best way to drive traffic for your site is only by you and your activities on the net. So start learning what do the experts say about driving traffic, on this forum as well as over the net

Forum posting is very common answers for such type of question. Can anybody relate and explain which particular forums drives more traffic besides backlinks ?

 

Why fast? And if the site is for a client, and that client wants fast traffic, ask the client, why fast.

Fast traffic is the leading cause of spam, lost PR and ranking, index absence, a host of other related website illnesses.

Its not really difficult to promote a newly built site. If you are depending on SEO, then it's a waiting game for you but you can still try in a few months. At first, you have to apply a full blast marketing strategies such as off-line marketing, social networks, directory submissions, forums such as this one and many more. Do this cycle everyday 24/7 and your site will be alright!

 

Yeah, tons of keyword backlinks and also do SEO tag on your picture and video contents.

This niche don't have much compition you can easily get ranked by doing some sort of optimization

Fast traffic is not good in the long run, never pay for it unless you know what you want to achieve requires that kind of traffic.
Personally I would say follow China_girls words closely. It's all about social media and linking to your site in helpful productive ways that make people want to know more about you, hence clicking on a link here and there, then word of mouth and what not, then you get people googling your site domain, then eventually in time that increases you rank for general search terms found on your site.

This business method involves hard back hours of work, but it DOES work. 100%!

I would suggest joining modeling forums and websites that have lots of models in. Twitter will help too to get your model names out there.

 

To make sure they find you, include on every page of your website the street address, .... TV can be used to promote websites, especially in a local market.

Don't just market to new visitors; market to return visitors as well!

 

I am a little suprised it's not already been mentioned. Need lots of traffic fast?

Use adwords for some fast traffic. Buy cheap vouchers and go from there.

If you are feeling more adventurous, find a model website that has tons of traffic and enquire as to how much it would cost to advertise there.
