How long have you been in the top ten? For sites <3 months old I always see the "Google dance" where you can drop a few pages or even appear de-indexed but then you are back again after two days...

The ranking might change daily, depending on which Google cluster you hit for new sites.

If you let us look at your site we would be able to tell you more about the problems that exist on the site which may have caused the site to drop in ranking.

Also, tell us about the age of the site, what all you have done in seo till now, do you write your own content or copy it from somewhere. Some of these if done wrongly can make you site drop from ranking.

I think its the result of Google newest update on their algorithm. The more update they do, the world of SEO is also changing and getting more exciting...

Sudden change in SERP may be caused by over optimization that definitely let you feel frustrated because of this penalty system of Search engine so please be aware and make sure you have not over optimized your website.

And suddenly you will find one morning that you have gained your previous location i.e top ten. It is normal in seo. At the time of google database update, this type of things happen

Sudden change in SERP is due to many factors: increased in the number of competitors for the keyword; you got banned on some links you created; some links got deleted; the site giving your back links is gone or got low SERP; and many more.

Have you known that Google has changed their SEO algorithm. The code name is Panda.
If Google sees your site as content farm, Google will penalize it.

Why do so many people ask for answers about what's wrong with their site then give no link. If we can't see the site we have no way to see what's going on with it.

I used http://tools.seomoves.org/penaltychecker/ on your website in your signature and it said you had a severe penalty
However I can not confirm that this is true in any way since the domain still shows up in Google etc.

I guess you are penalized, did you check the cached pages of your website. Is the cache taken out?

Sudden drop in rankings is possible due to any of the following reasons:

1: Site has been penalized [I would suggest you to check your site here: tools.seomoves.org/penaltychecker]

2: Google Dance [It happens some times, when you hit a different Google data center, so wait for 1-2 days and try again]

3: Competitors are working hard & you are loosing rankings

It happens due to Google dancing. Try to get backlinks for your websites

Google is very funny company. To call algorithm PANDA))) I don't think that such kind of drop may be caused by competitors hard work. Don't be upset man, just do your job, but not overdo it.
