People say COM is much easier to promote than CO, is that true?

Someone told me, that if i want to promote website, COM is much easier than CO domain.

I must know from professional members over here, if its true.

Dont listen to people who say you this - because google and other search engines look for content and not for any domain extension.

There'll be typo if u have .co domain

Ppl will still think that you put as .com

 

For me it's true that com is easier to promote than co because many people usually used it.

 

For me .com is the best because .com means commercial domain. it shows global.

.com is global - is it easier to promote? is your .co for a specific country? the same basic seo techniques would still apply...

 

I go with .com because it's the most familiar thing to people. That's one less thing they have to consciously learn about my sites. .com is ubiquitous.

 

If you want to promote your site global, COM is the best.

 

Dont really matter. Both .com and .co or .co.in are same to promote online. how ever .co.in like domain can help your promote it on country basis. It does not make much impact on PR, traffic and SERP ranking....

 

Many people are probably going to type .com instead of .co. Should be the same amount of work to promote, though, from an SEO standpoint.

 

.com is better domain extension because more people know .com domain extension therefore in these people make some confusion like your.com or your.co, people add your.com site easily by command of keyword "ctrl+enter"

 

all the extension is basically same. The reason webmaster prefer .com just because most of the internet user's mind was default as .com, not other extension
