    The difference between Yahoo! and Google is that yahoo is good with video finds and google with pictures finds. But overall they're both okay most of the time.

    Google is the number one and focus only on searching, while yahoo, though was the first search engines, couldn't forecast the potential of searching, and then explored their business to many areas. After they found the big market of searching, it's too late, they can only acquire other small engines like overture, excite, etc to get some share in the area.

    yahoo helped finance google in the late 90s. They weren't interested in the technology and hsowed brin & page the door. They recently owned as much as 5% of google but they cashed out too soon.

    Eventhough Yahoo and Google may be competitors. The common thing is that they have a lion share in the internet empire, leaving all the search engines at a distant place.

    I must totally disagree. Google is to busy launching 3,000,000 other market stealing services and tools and products and ads and I think they're starting a new toilet paper brand.... called Google Ass Wipes

    I'm cheering for yahoo against google any day.

    they are competitors of each others, I don't think of any other relation between them, but I love them fightings as google offer 1 GB and yahoo did the same, google offer adsense, and yahoo..........:p
