    Hi All;

    Can anyone suggest any good sites or books that will help me learn CSS?

    Also, how much HTML knowledge do you need? I'm pretty good, but not advanced.

    Regards

    How much knowledge you need in css/html is depending on what you want to do.
    I entitle myself web designer and frontend developer, so I need to have expert skills in both, but that may not be neccessary if you only do small stuff and stuff for yourself.

    Once you get going, there are 2 books that will serve great as dicitionarys and reference: The ultimate css reference, and The ultimate html reference.
    Both of them can be bought over at sitepoint.com

    Try to search your self and select only one site and then study complete site and gain the maximum knowledge from it. Practice the code with your hand is more effective. I have also selected a site which give the best css tutorial, css tips and trick.

    w3schools would be good if you are just starting up but, if you already know a bit about the language then you might consider grabbing a book from amazon regarding the same. i have recently read a book which was somewhere XXXX pages long but sincerely i like the authors efforts and the way he put up the things to make them interesting as well as easy to understand. feeling good after reading that :D you can do the same, just go to amazon and start poking in different best sellers.
    also, don't forget to read the reviews before you finally make a purchase

    Hope this helps
