    Hi friends,

I checked my website for the main keyword in google, bing and yahoo. I really wonder at the difference. SERP details are as follows

    Google - 6
Yahoo - (not upto 20th page)
    Bing - 7

May be, google and bing produce same results. I am spending in google adwords for the specific keyword but not in yahoo.

I know google SERP is based on backlinks, but what factors yahoo consider? Please clarify my doubts.

I guess you might have not read the recent happenings. Google had commented on this earlier that Bing is copying their search results. Good for you right ;) as you receive traffic from both search engines without much hassles :D

It happens due to the Algorithm of the particular search engines. But in all search engines, ranking is depends upon the quality backlinks

Yahoo algorithm is totally different from Google. As much as backlinks you will get in yahoo your site will be in better position. So always try to get more backlinks from different channels.

Of course there should be a big difference on each rankings. Simply because each Search Engine has its own algorithm right? and we all know that Google is the most strict one...

Seriously don't worry about Yahoo. Yahoo search results are served by Bing anyway, which mean that it doesn't really matter anyway. You should worry about Google Rankings, if so, as it has 80+% market share. You are saying that you spend ppc as well? I hope it isn't for the same keywords or just for position 3,4, since you position 6 on natural results should saves you a lot of ppc spend
