My site,MSCursor.com was on Google in Page 7 just after i launched the web site in 5 days and i received a few hits from them everyday but today i noticed that my site suddenly disappeared from the page 7-20.

Is it my site got banned?

    Heres my guess.

    1. Its a new site so you will get indexed / deindexed for awhile. Its normal dont sweat it.

    2. Your site loaded up slow for me. If it loads too slow Google wont wait around for it to open and just skip it.

expect your new site to be in then out then in then out.

this little shuffle will continue for a few months.

Hey your site didn't got banned but it got deindexed from the google. You can see it through google tool bar, the PR bar is in white color. You can do one thing to come back, build back links as many as you can.

if your site was banned you would not appear in any search results within google and you would lose your PR.

New sites tend to get a ranking and then drop off the face of a search rank. This is what us SEO's call a sandbox.

you might see your site creep back up in googles results if the keyword term is NOT competitive but if it is I would advise to at least wait 8-12 months before seeing any result. This is another theory of a google filter that is applied to new sites.

My advice is to keep doing your seo, inbound links, on site optimization, and grow your website as much as possible while you are waiting.

you can utilize some seo tools here

Actually building many back links could lead to a longer hold on the site. Back links isn’t about quantity, its quality.

Try and get a few quality back links, thats what counts and will help.

When a site gets banned the PR bar appears grey. That’s why people say my site has grey bar “banned”

You must get some related sites linking to yours. That will help you in the rankings.
And as others said, it's not banned, just getting tossed around because it's new.
    Best of luck:)

This thread is showing with a grey bar and I also see sites with PR4 with grey bar but later appear in the green. I dont take heat of the PR bar as half the time its reporting wrong.
