    We all know about PayPal restrictions for Indian users with effect from Mar, 01 2011

    Well, the sad news is: they are in place now! {they were not in place earlier}

    I have just logged into my PayPal a few minutes back to pay for my hosting and got this Shock!

    I got redirected to a message which explains all about the restrictions and they have also given a link at the end of message on the name of PayPal India new license agreement which is located here:paypal-apac.com/india/

    I still don't understand how the things will work if we can't pay with PayPal because,
    a large majority of PayPal India doesn't have a credit card attached to there PayPal's account and i am just one of them

    Any suggestion guys? finally we have to think for an alternative

    If not, try to get paper check from paypal. Alternative to paypal is always problematic...

    are you sure you got this message when sending money?. From what i know, everybody gets the same message when logged in about latest restrictions but still the restrictions werent implemented. may be the restrictions start from today!

    Why do we need a paper check for? we can still withdraw to our bank accounts
    the main problem is that we can't pay for goods/services
    with PayPal i used to pay for everything and i am talking about the same alternative
    Alertpay doesn't looks like a good option to me since they don't allow bank transfer in India as per my knowledge

    does anybody know anything about withdrawing money in 7 days? what if we dont withdraw and delay the withdrawal?

    That message is not new to us. We were getting that message previously in the 1st week of this month too. After that, message vanished and we started celebrating :D
    From today, The message returns again to spoil our party!

    @boomer_mitra He is saying this message was flashed when he tried to pay for hosting and the transaction was blocked :(

    they might reverse the payment that is again nothing less then a shock!

    But this is the very first time for me as i have never seen that scary message before!

    I would suggest Indians using PayPal to pay all there bills in advance because my payment facility is already been blocked and no doubt friends you are the next!

    PayPal has millions of user base in India so i think it would take some time to implement the restriction for all users {but just to let you all know, its already started}

    If you are getting that message only then its natural..go to your account and pay the bills..
    Its still working on my side. give it one more try and let us know please :)

    There is no sufficient alternative for paypal.... I suggest you to use your debit/credit card and pay securely via paypal !! I am doing the same since the restriction raised from paypal
