can I withdraw money from elance to an unverified Paypal account?

Hi everyone,

I have some money on my elance account that I want to withdraw, I'd like to know if it is possible to add an unverified paypal and get the money sent to it.Did any body try this before with elance?

yes, you can. That's no problem to get paid to unverified account
The only different between the verified account and unverified account is the withdraw and sending limitation

in fact, I asked this question because when I tried to add unverified paypal on elance, they wanted to take a small amount so I wondered why this procedure

 

I don't think it is possible. Whenever I try to do so, paypal is asking for credit card info and trying to get the account verified. As I have not withdrawn any money in the last one year, there is no chance of my account going above the monthly limit of $500 either. Were you able to withdraw the money?

 

I think you need to verify your account before you can get or withdraw money from elance besides that their might be paypal limitations that may happen to your account like what happen with my cousin where she got new paypal unverified and when she withdraw some money in GAF her paypal got limited

 

As far as i know,elance does not accept unverified paypal
