Something Weird With YPN

since ypns payouts have recently plumited i usually get one throught the day and until later in the day its past 10.00

but today i woke up and so far today i have earned like 35.00 off ypn. since recent payout cuts i was getting like 1.00 per thousand uniques but maybe were back in biz, because i have 35.00 in my ypn for today and just a little over 1200 uniques!!!!


So what do you thnk this means?

The CPC goes up and down.

 

i understand that but yesterday i was getting .22 rpc and today is just yay!

 

Depends on the keyword and you just got lucky for the day.
I wish to see that kind of money.

I use YPN as well.

I see it as BETA, not as many advertisers and therefore not the consistency with what they are paying, and what we receive per click.

 

Harrison, look at your tracker logs.
Has a larger site linked to any of yours or have you risen in the SEs?

I'm having a high day too, but we deserve it after the last few weeks.

I woke up to the same thing today. After 2 weeks of hell. Do you have MSN?

 

Guess what. I had bad day yesterday, and today..............wow. Highest in last 10 months. record break

 

Too bad it could'nt be like this everyday of every month. or atleast most of the days in the month would be nice.

This is when I love YPN.

 

I've noticed that these shifts in payouts seem to occur when Y! corporate is reporting quarterly earnings, as it is right now (well, yesterday to be precise.)

Had a record day yesterday..2 times average daily revenue

 

I have two sites that use YPN. One broke it's record by earing twice as much as usual yesterday. The other hit a record low (though it is seasonal and dropping because of winter). Yahoo also sent me an e-mail advertising that it newly implemented it's redone advertising program. Maybe the two are related.

 

woopde doo! today is back to normal (aka 6,000 uqniue hits and 14.00)

Why all you guys were busy having great days - my RPC officially hit rock bottom. 2 days ago it averaged 40 cents... yesterday... 20 cents!

1 year ago this month I was averaging $18+/click.

Whatever they just changed has ruined it for me... i might actually have to start doing a few hours work each day again

 

im down to like .25 rpc

 

You get a lucky day, that's all. Days like that do happen once in a while.
