Does Https affect if we build links on http page of an website

My website is https://www.lightpaydayloan.com and I had done the link building on http://www.lightpaydayloan.com

I had redirected my https site to the http.

So, I want to ask that does the site rank well for the Keywords if we build the links on http site and then redirect to https.

We had done enough link building still my site does not rank for the keywords.

So, I think that may be issue as I had built the links on http.

    is it so

    I need help??

    Any suggestions....

When both pages are different you need to choose only one option and build links for that. As i feel obviously it will have impact on your rankings.

I'm not exactly sure - why don't you chose the best URL? Because google sees them as two different sites.

    It shouldn't make a difference, with a 301 redirect

Ot's good if you 301 re-direct https to http and continue your seo for http.

According to Google's new algorithm it considers http and https as one. So you need not worry about that.

https always use only for secure if and it is one part of transaction where you get user details or some confidential data from user

like Google.com on normal http but Gmail.com on https:

G is pretty smart when giving credit for links. If you can fix them great if not don't worry about it an build more with the "s".
