    Did you use Paypal balance or credit card?

    I tried to use credit card to pay an Indian user (via Paypal) and I wasn't able to do that.

    PayPal working perfectly without any problems for me:

    - Can Send payment
    - Have Payment for more then 7 days
    - Can send payment to Indian PayPal users!

    Seems PayPal and RBI happy now:D

    Just paid rapidshare and godaddy from paypal balance and worked perfectly. Nothing is changed yet. Maybe paypal knows RBI babus are computer illiterate and so, doing site updation on low priority to let us enjoy paypal few more days

    I don't think the Paypal policy is being 'forced' per se. Since the changes announced by Paypal were in line with the changes announced by the RBI, I doubt Paypal would be the one to control the buying of goods and services so if you are still using Paypal for buying goods / services, you should stop. I wouldn't want to mess with taxes and such like.

    I think they have notified us to withdraw the money since as per RB rules any money holding authority holding money for 7 or more needs to pay a interest
    So they reminded us but i hope since its our money that our wish to withdraw money!

    Its quite strange that the rule of sending money from balance was for Indians, but its the Turkish people who are facing this problem, moreover they were NOT warned/alerted like us prior to implementation of the rules....Only God knows whats running in Paypal minds...
