My own personal tips: Firstly you either need one hell of a popular website or several websites amounting to many many thousands of uniques a day for starters. You need a lot of good quality, unique and well sought after text on many many pages. You need to be good at pushing your sites out there, you need a lot of patience, Adsense rarely happens overnight, took me 4 years before it became more than a full time income for me, but I didn't stop there, I keep building on existing sites and new ones. You need a lot of time, patience and hard work! But trust me the rewards are worth it. Once you have the basics also things like how and where you place your adsense, how you blend them etc all come into it too.

I understand that the problem i have is I would loose my welfare if I had a full time job with adsense so I guess I will just have more kids then its really win win. I dont have the power to get my adsense up to $400 a day yoda didnt teach me anything

Regular 400$ is translated as 100K pageviews, 1200 clicks. Of course this can vary, it could be 50K views and 600 clicks as well; or the real best is 25K views and 300 clicks, or 12K views with 150 clicks. His record is at 2000 views per day,probably 200 clicks (10%) per day at no less than 2$ per click or 100 clicks at no less than 4$ per click netting him 400$ per day!
