I started posting articles at hubpages with keyword stuff of optimization with seo. I used to mention keyword in the article for upto 3% density. Is it ok for seo or it becomes as spamming of keyword? Please clarify me.

And if I posted the article in hubpages, now wants to make promote it in article directories. How to post the same article in different article directories? If I post the same content which posted in hubpages, will result as a copied content. So how to post a new article which gives a link to my hubpages article with out changing the information? Does it ok to use article spinners? If it is kindly suggest me one free way to get rewrite of my articles to post in the article directories.

Thanks in advance for your valuable tips.

@galipellisatyanarayana: I personally have stopped promoting articles to hubpages and other article directories due to the new google algo update.

The reason for this is I found that my personal sites that I had promoted on ezinearticles and hubpages with quality unique content - lost rankings and traffic during the new update.

From what I understand of the update - sites that have duplicate content are losing quality score and are therefore losing their rankings. This is what I noticed in my own sites where I promoted via article marketing.

The sites that I promoted with pure search engine optimization and onpage seo have shown minor improvements in SE traffic.

Google wants Quality content. So to answer your question - I would never spin articles and as of right now, I see perks in article marketing (aside from maybe affiliate marketing). Just my opinion.

    Hope this helps.

@logaseo: You can SEO images, videos, real estate, etc very easily. Think of building content as a way to attract targeted leads. If you have an image or video on "Dog Training", you would SEO this page by writing quality articles relevant to your niche. You want to place the video/images around the unique quality content. When the content gets ranked, your video/image will be seen.

As far as real estate and game sites - You need to find out what your target market wants. Do some keyword research.
I would imagine that people are searching for things like:
    - Condos Miami Beach
    - South Beach Real Estate
    - South Beach Condos
    - Etc

For Game Sites, it all depends on what type of game it is. Does the game have an affiliate program? Do they provide coupons? If they do you could:
    - Signup for affiliate account
    - Find coupons and share coupons on your blog using your affiliate link
    - Write quality unique content about the niche.

I actually setup a gaming site based on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm right before it was about to be launched. I was able to pull in about $7,000 in 7 days during and after the launch of Cataclysm.

It's really all about doing research on your customers, finding what they want - and then providing it.

@varshyl: In order to get more organic traffic, you need to start putting up quality content. I myself have never ran an audio site, but I would imagine that you could outsource someone to write the lyrics for each audio file. If you don't have the money to outsource it, you could slowly add the lyrics yourself. If you're dealing with niche related audio products, adding the lyrics onto each audio page will help drive you some good traffic.

Don't forget onpage seo either. It's a good idea to setup your URLs to be "Google Friendly". Google friendly means that the keywords are basically in the URL itself. For example:
    Google Friendly URL: http://www.youraudiosite.com/lisa-turner-missing-you-now-with-lyrics/
    Non Google Friendly URL: http://www.youraudiosite.com/index.php?page=34456

*Have your title for each page the name of the song.
*Setup meta description (this could be the top 3 songs)
*Setup meta keywords (relevant to the visitors you target)

If you do all or just some of the above, you should start seeing traffic. Just make sure that you provide quality content and google will reward you.

    Hope this helps!

@addyj672: There can be many factors for this. Without seeing your site, I can only give my opinion.

Have you done backlinking and/or keyword research on the competitors who are ranking above you?
How is your onpage seo structured? Are you using SEO Titles and Meta? Quality Unique Content?
Are you trying to get your main www.domain.com ranked for these keywords or are you trying to rank www.domain.com/widget?
Are you internally linking to these pages with the keywords you're trying to rank for?

These are some of questions that need to be answered before I can give you any information that would valuable to you.

thanks for replying so fast!!! my site is "cashforgoldleprechaun[.]com" we are tragetting main domain for keyword "cash for gold".

I have done backlinking research on competitors according to which sites like gold-cash{.}com have less backlinks then my site.
Google is playing with our positioning for last 2 months. but we can reach first page. We mainly use article submission, pr submission, directory submission, profile linking, and forum posting, blog commenting.

I don't know which thing is missing....

    @addyj672

After looking at your site I noticed that you do have several backlinks but Google likes relevancy, whether it is backlinking or content. I did a link check on the top 2 competitors and they seem to have more relevant backlinks. I personally think you should start focusing on getting backlinks on authority sites in your niche. The best way to do this is to purchase "guest posts" on blogs that are in your niche. For example you would write a 400-500 word article just as you would for an article directory but instead pay to have the article posted on relevant blogs in your niche as a guest post. I have found that this works very well.

Now with your on page SEO, the first thing that I noticed about your main page is your META keywords and META Description. Your META keywords should at least contain the main keyword that you are trying to rank for in Google. By doing "site:www.cashforgoldleprechaun.com" in Google I see that Google has indexed your META description as "Golden Leprechaun! - fast easy secure get cash for gold, sell gold online, mail your gold and get cash , gold jewelry buyers , gold coin buyers , buy scrap ...". I would suggest removing all of your keywords in your META description and creating a description that describes what your site is about and include your main keyword somewhere in that description.

To go over this real quick again I would try to get more relevant backlinks and work a little bit on your on page SEO and see if that boosts your rankings. If you would like to get traffic while your main keyword is going after the first page of Google, you could do keyword research on your niche and find "lower hanging keywords" - Then create unique articles around these keywords and put them either on a blog or your own individual pages.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    @sandraseeves

Here is a list of some of the tools that I personally use and recommend:

    1. Google Adwords Keyword Tool
I use the Google Adwords tool to find out the [Exact] search volume for the keywords/niches that I am targeting. This tool is free and gives you a pretty decent idea of the traffic you may receive in the top position.

    2. SEMRush
SemRush is great for doing competitor research. I use this tool to do niche research by using my competitors as guinea pigs. They have already collected the necessary data I need to be successful in the niche, so I use that data when structuring my site.

    3. Yahoo Site Explorer
I use the yahoo site explorer because I have found that trying to locate links in google is not always "correct". You can use the yahoo site explorer by going to www.yahoo.com and searching for a domain like this "link:www.domain.com". Yahoo will show you the links pointing to your site that are currently in their database. If you have the money, I would suggest Scrapebox.

    4. Scrapebox
Scrapebox is such an amazing and necessary tool for seo research. I am not going to go into detail because you can go to their site and get all the features and information you need.

    5. Google Webmaster Tools
TRACK TRACK TRACK. You must track your data. If you don't know how people are finding you, or how people are trying to find you - how can you write your content to cater to your audience? I watch my Google Analytics and Webmaster tools on a daily/weekly basis. Keep an eye on your new search traffic coming in. If you see a lot of searches for keywords that you might not have an article on. Write an article just for those keywords and raise your authority for that set of keywords. This is free traffic that you should already be getting.

These are the tools that I have found useful when doing my SEO research.

@addyj672: Did you notice a drop in ranking during the new google algo change? If so, I would say that your article marketing efforts may have hurt you (Never thought I would be saying that). As of right now the only suggestion I can give is to stop article marketing on the sites who were "slapped" by google. You can find a list of them in this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2107254

I've hit a brick wall with improving the ranking of a driving school website. I am concentrating on local SEO terms, I have better quality backlinks and quantity that the majority of my competitors above me, I have optimised on page to the correct keyword density. My keyword term is "driving schools in bournemouth", and the website is www . yesdriving . co.uk. Any reason except lack of local citations for why my listing is going up?

Thank you so much! I have one comment about ScrapeBox. Is there a way to make it portable (install it in USB). The same way with Bookmarking Demon? Thanks again.
