Google updated Pagerank today

Google updated Pagerank today.My sites Pagerank dropped from PR4 to PR0.

 

I doubt, maybe just a special treat for you.

 

Oh really, thats good news. I should check pagerank of my site.

Oh oh my god, my site's pagerank is increased from 10 to 7. Its a good news for me.

 

That's a DECREASE, Dummy !

 

I doubt that the pagerank updated today...
But, I have been proven wrong before..

 

Most likely just a pagerank for you, we had a global PR update recently so it's nowhere near time for another one.

 

I stopped worrying about PR. A few years ago my site was a PR3, dropped to PR1, then early last year dropped to PR0.

But traffic about doubles each year, so why worry about PR?

I have a few high PR sites linking to specific pages on my site because the page is relevant to their niche and apparently they feel it adds value to their visitors. Even with these high PR sites linking to mine, I still have PR0. And no, they are not using "nofollow" and I do not link back, so these are one way links.

I only occasionally add another backlink through my own efforts. And I link out whenever I find a resource that is helpful to my visitors.

 

no changes on my site nor my blogs...its been a long time since a major PR update happened.

 

I have not seen any changes. Waiting ...

 

I didn't see any PR updates in any of my clients websites.

Will wait.

 

I thing your site quality droped that;s way google has down your ranking but dont worry just take quality back links and your ranking will back soon.

I think this a result of the new google algo

 

Common sense would suggest people would look at the PR of other sites and not just their own before suggesting there has been a PR update *sigh*

 

Google is updating PR in random continous PR updates on Internal PR and the PR on the green toolbar is just the approximate of the whole PR of your site.

 

U r 100% right, One can generate good traffic from S.E. without have High PR
