    Hi All,
Can anybody please guide me to solve this problem.
My site TheTvpro.com was working until yesterday.
When I checked it today open suddenly showing Error:

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /home/man/public_html/thetvpro.com/wp-includes/load.php on line 569"

I can able to login to my Wordpress Dashboard, even updated to Latest wordpress version(3.1), taken full back up of files (database and files)

Strange is in control panel I can see files in File Manager but when I connect with FTP I am seeing only ftpquota file nothing else.

Even in FTP accounts list I can see TheTvpro account with 0 / ∞ MB

Can anybody pls help me to sort out the things.

    Thanks!

Here are some solutions which WordPress experts suggest.

    * Login your server via FTP (I prefer Filezilla)
    * Download wp-config.php located in the root of your WordPress install
    * Edit it using a text editor like Notepad
    * Add this line after after the <?php tag
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');
    * Upload and replace wp-config.php file

All should we working fine now. You can also choose a value higher than 64 like 128M, but 64 should do the trick. Always keep a backup of the original wp-config.php file incase something goes wrong.

Update: Here is another suggested fix – locate your php.ini file (if it exists), and if it shows 32M, change to 64M:
    memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

But if you don’t have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file:
    php_value memory_limit 64M

If all these steps do not work? Then your web hosting provider may have prevented PHP from increasing the memory limit, and you can contact your webhosting support to increase the memory limit for your server.

    Hi,
I have submitted ticket to my host, he raised the memory limits for PHP but the problem still persists (it is only displaying blank page)

Can any body pls let me know how to retrieve the FTP Login details, their are two directories showing in my File manager (one is thetvpro which is blank, and other one is thetvpro.com which is having all wordpress directories). The FTP which I am logging in is to blank directory.

I have not stored the FTP details for this site.

    Thanks!

Hi guys. You can change memory_limit if you edit PHP.ini file. Don't edit wp-config file because you don't have this option there.
If you don't know how to change it, submit a ticket and that's it. I believe it's already solved :)

    Hi,
My all posts before March are working fine, when I click on March Archives the problem comes.
Any one can check here are few links that are working:
    http://www.thetvpro.com/the-office-us-season-7-episode-18-todd-packer/
    http://www.thetvpro.com/kidnap-and-ransom-season-1-episode-1/
    http://www.thetvpro.com/skins-us-season-1-episode-3-chris/

Then check all archives except March-11, all works fine, but when you click on March none of the posts will load.

If I want to delete all posts of March how can I do, without using Wordpress Admin aread, It is not working giving fatal error.
Any one tell me if it can be deleted by File Manager?

    Thanks!

You cannot delete posts using file manager because posts are not files. WP is pulling that data from the database. If you want to delete a lot of posts, install "Bluk delete" plugin but be carefull. Make backup first :)

    Hi,
Yes problem is partially solved, blog is working fine after my host deleted recent blog posts.
But problem is still in admin area, where I am unable to do new posts/edit, other things like theme editor are working fine.

    Thanks!

Do you have a lot of posts or pages? Do you have your permalinks set to something like %postname%? I ran into a similar problem a couple of months ago with a large site I have. Increasing memory did not solve the problem and my hosting company was stumped as well. I ended up using a permalink migration plugin to change my permalinks since this is where Wordpress was getting hung-up. Here's an excerpt from my blog post:
WordPress appends pages with the page title automatically. When the custom permalink setting is used to do the same for posts, it forces wordpress to parse every single page and post every time it loads. Not only does it slow down wordpress, it can run into time-out errors as it did in the case of my large site. I have since begun using a permalink that begins with the year, then the postname to circumvent the possibility of this happening again. My current permalink settings are as follows: /%year%/%postname%/ so that my urls now look like this – (sorry, the forum wouldn't let me put any example urls on my post)

    Hope that helps!

I have almost deleted the plugins/themes that are not required.
In admin area everything seems to be working fine, except Posts : http://www.thetvpro.com/wp-admin/edit.php (which displays blank page).
Even my host increased php.ini memory to 512M. Blog is loading fine.

    Any suggestion guys?

    Thanks!
