I'm looking for a fairly simple image upload script written in PHP.

What would really be great was if it was a WordPress plugin, but I've used a couple now and I just can't get them to work right...

Basically, the upload form in WP specifies that you need to have a folder named "images" within the wp-content folder set with permissions to be written.

I created the folder, set it to 666 and I was then able to upload. The problem is now that although the image has been uploaded, WordPress actually thinks it's been uploaded to the wp-content folder, and links to it as such(so it's sitename.com/wp-content/image.jpg, as opposed to sitename.com/wp-content/images/image.jpg)... WTF?!?

So, I'm fed up of trying to get that to work and wanna try something else.

A script that allows you to upload an image, then publishes a link to it in the admin area and also tells you the location (like http://www.somesite.com/someimage.jpg)...

A bit like Photobucket or something like that...

Anyone got any experience or suggestions?

    Many thanks...

I did look through there but gave WP one more try before I made my decision...

The above plugin worked wonders for me...

    Thanks again though. :)
