Anyone familiar with the Adword extension Ad Sitelinks?

I have a top Quality Score and usually ranked top 2 for my main keywords in AdWords. I believe adding Ad Sitelinks would benefit me even more. I want to add symbols in the AdSite link names. Is that allowed and do you have any other comments or feedback of using Ad Sitelinks?

Appreciate any input you can give!

I don't believe symbols are allowed in sitelinks. There was a spate of using non-letter characters like ticks and stars as bullet points a while ago, but Google cut back on that.

The only thing to watch out for with sitelinks is that you'll be getting very little data on how they are performing since Google provides very little granular data on them. Since they apply to an entire campaign, I would suggest applying them during a period where you aren't making other major changes, so you can monitor any changes in performance more effectively.

    Thanks for your answer!

The weird part is that our AdWords UK site is accepted using symbols (but not our new Scandinavian site, that gets disproved). I've also seen other Scandinavian AdWord campains running, using symbols. So it shouldn't be "country specific" as I suspected first.

Also appreciate the tips regarding the link performance, didn't know about that.

It's a technical anomaly, the sitelinks facility in adwords was developed by a different part of the corporation than the usual adwords team, and accidentally allowed all kinds of ACSII symbols to be used. (as recently explained to me by an adwords rep) They are working on removing that, but such things get rolled out bit by bit, hence the inconsistency.
