I've read a number of XRumer reviews on this forum, but it's always tough to tell a legit review from someone just pursuing affiliate commissions. So I ran a little XRumer review on one of my throw aways websites to see what kind of results this spammy software is really capable of. A little background about the test: I only had the XRumer blast sent to about 6,500 profiles. This software has the capability to blast profile submissions to over 100,000 profiles if I wanted and my results might have been better if I did that. I based success on two factors: 1.) Improved Rankings for 10 tracked Keywords 2.) More Traffic from Search Engines Just two weeks after my intial blast, here are my results using this software: Current Rankings in Google air traffic control test prep: – Movement: 0 air traffic control training: – Movement: 0 air traffic controller training: 21 Movement: + 88 atc certification: 18 Movement: + 2 atc prep: – Movement: 0 atc trainer: 3 Movement: 0 atc training: 8 Movement: + 2 how to become an air traffic controller: 81 Movement: + 15 Search Traffic: 77 visits via search engines in 12 days before XRumer Blast. 87 visits via search engines in 12 days after XRumer Blast. Judging from the initial results, I think an automated link building tool like XRumer could be useful tool to improve rankings of specific keywords when combined with a more white-hat methods of link building. The trick would be in not tripping up Google’s algo longterm.
Thats good for you. May i give you suggestion? Use xrumer blast not to main site to be safe. I ever someday, blast my main site with 10k profile backlinks and posting. Guest what? One week after it the ranking for the selected keyword boost to the top. Wow, i was very happy. And then suddenly, days after that moment my site was nowhere. Google banned it. Dooh!
@komrad how many different anchortexts did you use? If you used only one anchor, it is probably only an automatic ban, so you just need different anchortexts?
Thanks @komrad - I agree. There are some services out there that over blasts to over 100,000 profiles. That seemed a little too obvious to me. I plan to test this to squidoo lenses and other web 2.0 profiles using the link wheel method. Have you ever tested that strategy by chance?
How many other people have had google penalising them for using this blast technique? Is the risk worth it?
@Excel8 - A "blast" basically just means that you're submitting a massive quantity of backlinks to different profile websites. @MajicMokey - It's more likely that you will get no affect from an Xrumer blast than you will get punished by Google. If you got punished from this technique, everyone would be doing it to their competitors. That's totally just my opinion though.
