One of my site is getting junk traffic from amazon and other sources like "university of california at san diego", "road runner holdco llc", "comcast cable communications inc." "verizon internet services inc." "qwest communications company llc" etc. My site deals in online pharmacy and normally we got 500-700 unique visitors per day but from the last 1 week...i am getting 900-1000 unique visitors per day but these extra traffic is coming from those sites where i never put my site link. I got 200+ unique visitors for the keyword "tucson" in last 7 days but the interesting thing is.....there is no such of keyword in my site. My site url is trumedcanada.com. Please help me...how to get rid from this problem. Thanks in advance...
Are you adword services or done some classifieds ? if yes then it may possible that these visitor are coming from ads but i am not sure ...........

I never used adword service and don't use to make post in classified. Still I am getting hundreds of junk visitors....
I don't think so. If your website has junk traffic, your website is still good. It is because the website will be increasing with high ranking alexa.
This can be caused if someone uses PPV advertising. They can send junk traffic to your domain via the adware. If they chose RON (run of network) for any search query or domain it would send traffic to your site and use that as the refer.
Free (junk traffic) raises bandwidth costs, reduces advertising CTRs, and decreases qualified leads. Serious marketers have to take these things into consideration if they're to be successful AND efficient.
But surely the payoff is that it builds your rank quicker and that will increase advertising revs etc
I'm not sure if it's worth all the worries. Serious marketers knew that they have no control over who and where the traffic comes from.
to reduce junk traffic make sure majority of your traffic are coming from organic or search engine... don't let referrer dominate it.
May be all websites hosts on same server. If not then check referral website if there your link is to be placed.
Actually, targeted traffic increases rank quicker (via word of mouth) and advertising revs (via click throughs).
