What is the best alternative of EzineArticles?

    Hi,
I am really fade up with the way ezine articles are rejecting articles. My two platinum accounts have been turned into basic plus last week. In those two profiles there were almost 300 articles. Now I want to quit ezine articles marketing. Please suggest me some popular directories. I use articlebase, amazines and goarticles. Since articlebase is no follow how much worthy is it submitting articles there. I do not want to know any free crap article directory list. I do article submission manually so it is better to submit articles in few good directories rather than a lot. I need some real good ones. What about buzzle.com? Any idea? Articlecity is worthless. They do not approve articles even after 2-3 months.
    Thanks

buzzle.com and sooperarticles.com can prove to be a good substitute.

Honestly I'm not sure if there are any really good alternatives to Ezine now with all of this article marketing "hit" that just took place. I think it's up in the air until we get more time to see what's going on and get some feedback.

    Have you looked into hubpages?.
I like it, it also has a community involved - with questions and answers.
I wrote an article there as well, its called running a niche forum

As far as traffic to the actual article or page, for me it's squidoo. My squidoo lenses always seem to rank well without any effort, though I see people often say the same about their hubs. As far as traffic from the actual article, I think they all leave something to be desired.

In my opinion, the best option is mass submission to large amounts of directories with the expectation that the backlinks will raise a site's placement, which will result in more organic traffic. What's your experience?

Thanks all. What I understand is there is no alternative of ezine articles. Hubs and lens work too. I have not worked with squidoo too much. Could you please tell me how to run a successful lens?

Ezine Articles took too long to approve my articles so I switched to Article Base. I'm getting much better results from them and even though they say it could take up to 72 hours to approve an article, for me it never took more than a day.
And I have a few on the first page of Google, though with the recent hit I don't for how long they are going to remain there.

I also tried Go Articles, Squidoo and Hubpages, but Article Base worked best for me.
