    well for exact answer you will need to provide some more information like your niche, site url , site age , recent traffic , site content.

    generally now a days most of the traffic comes from search engines. so concentrate on search engine optimization , start backlinking via forum and blogs. If you have a blog then start creating unique content in which visitor's are really intersted.

    1. Video Marketing - make some videos on your site and post them to Youtube, Revver, Metacafe etc...
    2. Article Marketing - not so much for traffic but for SEO (Increasing your ranking in search engines)
    3. Social Networking - make various accounts on social networks like Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter to promote your site
    4. Social Bookmarking - submit your site to the various social bookmarking websites to increase user awareness of your site

    submit and promote your site on social bookmarking site, social networking sites. Article submission helps too, specially if you create quality content, something good and appealing to the searchers. Plus, you can also do some classified ad posting. Forum posting and blog commenting helps to drive traffic too.
