Different niche backlink

Hi guys,

I have two websites of different niche, one new and the other is aged with very strong backlinks.
Will Google care if I'll link the new website from the old one ? Is there a potential for a penalty here ?

(Again, two completely different niche).

Basically it doesnot matter as long as you dont have any unwanted links on your old domain or your old domain is itself penalized for some other reasons. However if you want to be in the same niche, I would prefer not to link them to each other, instead look for some some high rated blogs and sites in the same niche as your new site.

 

if in total different niche, or cannot related each other, don't make footer sitewide links, make a news release, new blog entry etc etc to introduce your new site

You can give link to new site form old site. But give it in manner that it looks like naturally. Don't highlight everywhere.

 

If niches of 2 sites are too different, I think it is hard to make these links look naturally.
IMHO this is a good reason to create or to buy additional websites in the same niche.

But one can introduce the completely different niche website through Blog Post or Partner Site Label. Right?

Probably Blog post is a good option. But if we take corporate blogs, you hardly can find unrelated links there.

The way I use is to create websites in the same niche as my main website. And for sure, If i would find a website or blog for sale in my niche (CCTV, security cameras) I would purchase this website/blog without any hesitation. IMHO it is a simplest way to get quickly naturally looking links.

 

If you do only on sites backlinks to your niche, it can be classified as spam.
If you backlinks in various niches, it can also happen.

Ideally, building links is constant, however, initially with a low amount and then to increase gradually.

Same niche sites will give you authority, while the niche will give you different popularity.

It won't be a problem if you have a wide range of links. The more relevant the links the better but this doesn't mean the off-topic niches won't give some benefit. It won't hurt your site unless the off topic page is full of bad spam such as pharma links.

 

It does Not Matter which Niche You are Targeting to acquire backlinks, Only Thing matters qualitative links.. If you are getting links from High Page Rank Websites Google Will Never Penalize you..
