$50 paypal logo contest for Creartix Design Studio

Hi guys,

I need a logo done for a design studio called "Creartix".

The company creates unique, stylish, minimal and usable designs for the Web,
Print, CMS, Logo & Mobile Apps.

Logo has to be really polished, professional and progressive.

Taking those designs from 99designs without paying is incredibly dodgy.

If you're not buying any designs off 99designs, I'd ask for $150 for this concept...

 

Yes, the contest for this logo is also on 99designs, but so what? I'm creating a separate contest for this logo on DP and if the logo from DP wins, everybody wins! This is called business guys. Tell me what I did that was wrong? So now doing business the smart way is wrong?

 

This is why i stopped entering his contests. He's a scam artist....

 

@TightWad: It seems to me that all you do is complain. You complain on my threads, you complain on other threads, you complain everywhere. Business is business, it's nothing personal, your life will be much better if and when you will understand this!

 

You're telling artists you will pay them hundreds of dollars if you like their design (which they're spending many hours producing).. then stealing their design without payment to have other designers re-create it for less than 10% of the original quoted price.

That's not business at all. That's a scam.

 

Out of interest, are you a designer that is 'outsourcing' his jobs in the hope of paying measly sums (for good work) in the hope of claiming the final product as your own and charging for a huge profit? If so, that's really low...

 

@JPM: What you are accusing me of happens on 99designs and on DP all the time. You tell people which design you like the most so far (but it's still not perfect for you) and ask them to create something similar but better... you tell people where you want the logo to go because you like the direction the best logo so far took... if this is stealing than I'm Barack Obama... this happens on every thread on DP, the person who created the contest tells everybody which design he likes the most so far and then everybody creates logos similar to this design that he likes...

I don't understand what the fuss is all about frankly. This is certainly NOT a scam in any shape or form. Just smart business.

I "complain" that you steal work from real designers and pass it off as your own
