    I have been trying to use the google adwords keyword selector tool all day but I keep getting an error.

    Does anyone know what's going on?

    try the google insights for search instead of google adwods if it is not working...

    It may be due to server problem as well, you can use other keywords tool like SerpAnalytics, WordTracker etc.
