Well, first of all i would like to mension that the yahoo people are extreamly difficult to deal with...they will not mail you anything once you register to let you know the process.

And, i believe that yahoo is no longer accepting new applications for advertising...

Try google adsense its a lot better...

As already, mentioned becomming a Y! search partner is nye impossible.
I was dealing with them in November it took nothing short of magic to finally actually speek to the relevent team.
We had a voice call meeting... it seemed to go well... but in the end they basicly said that they would require traffic volumes of at least 1 million unique high quality visitors and to contact them back when this happens!

Have any of you had luck with them? I've used their XML feed before, it's very good stuff , however it was off of a 3rd party vendor who had pretty significant traffic to begin with.

Many ppl say Google targets contextual ads better than YaHoO!, but I am not sure how accurate that statement is, since I am not a YPN publisher.

I've had the chance to use YPN's XML feed in the past , their page bots aren't as good as googles are, however with google displaying ads based on prior browsing history , there's a chance that yahoo could edge them out.

Imagine if you will you run a legal website , all your ads SHOULD be legal ads, however with the new google ad setup , they will show ads based on prior user history. So , instead of legal ads , you might get fashion or pokemon ads.

I know YPN is very difficult to join, yahoo only accept site with million unique visitor per month.
