Be sure to research and make sure you are getting likes to your page not just being suggested to other people.
Some of the wording is unclear on fiverr

for $5, what's the risk? Find someone that's got good feedback and give them a try.

If you want a bunch of soulless accounts liking your FanPage, then go for it. If you want actual legit followers, then stay away from it.

Better invest in potential clients with well written blog entries and promotions such as contests. One regular client who buys what you offer for sale (products or services) is worth a million visitors who have no intention in buying anything.

I actually sell Facebook fans on Fiverr. So I'm entitled to say it works! ;)

Good, if you are starting out in FB Fan Pages i.e. for a new FB page - Not very productive for an already established one!

you definatley want organinc followers. answer this question ... if your own friends won't follow you, what's the point in mass followers. build your content and message, and the followers will flock to you in droves.

Fiverr is a site of $5 where we can get fans, but it is good just to increase the number of fans.

I haven't tried fiverr to get facebook fans but I did tried twiends, you can get a lot of likes fast but it won't be targeted users. They are there just to increase their points and are probably not using their main account. I've used it and I didn't use my main account for that.

I spent around $30 for 6 fiverr gigs over a period of two months. Each time the gig mentioned that they will invite 21k or 47k friends to my fan page. I even calculated for the first transaction i paid, I got almost 200 fans for just $5. So I started buying more gigs, however eventually the number of fans coming to my page decreased to 50 for each $5, I spent. Some of the sellers even send you a proof of an invite page sent to 41000 fans at a time.
How can anyone have so many friends or an option of sending so many users an invite at once ?

Guys ... you are better off getting orgnanic traffic. If no one is attracted to your message that you personally know, why would a stanger be. Especially if you didn't put a unique offer in front of them to draw targeted traffic to your page.

i think the best thing you can do is like similar pages and comment as your page user.

thats a great idea yaffer, thanks
using twiends and buying fans is only good for numbers sake, showing off your e-popularity lol
but you'll likely never get any real traffic/interest from those 'fans'

This is the first time I've heard of Fiverr but with the reviews, sounds interesting.

Why buy untargetted fans? How does it benefit you in any way?

Fivver is very nice but quite expensive, since you get very little fans for your $5, and sometimes they are all from far east countries. Also, many sell "invites" -- this is a complete waste of money because even if they invite, say, 5000 friends to your page, you will get about 10 fans at best for $5, and that is again a rip off. Just my 2 cents, find only services that guarantee fans and offer money back if they fail to deliver.
