#2 is the biggest problem for new webmasters. But making money online is very easy if you put in the hard work to get your site off the ground. Money making sites require lots of time, and hard work before you make a good buck from them(unless you start a proxy of course).

My number one killer is procrastination.

Most newbies fall into this trap too.. information overload, trying to find the 'secrets' but not taking action on the fundamentals...

If you don't know anything else I'd say know 3).
Also, I would add: not realizing that people won't want something unpopular looking (generally speaking). So if your forum looks like no one has been there for months, it will be almost impossible to get a single sign up.

3/4 are big ones. When I first started I got overloaded with so much information and made like 5 websites with SO much enthusiasm. About 2 months into I was just working on one of the websites with little motivation after no earnings.

My advice is to only work on ONE project at once when you get started and make it work before you start another.

Well said cluongo18. The ONE project has made me some starting money....not much but it keeps me motivated and I am keeping up with progress. Its these motivated communities which will make newbies to start working on whatever is in the internet and not to procrastinate (i hope i spelled it right)

I fell for this trap too. After reading so many stories from top marketers on making the same mistakes in the past (like John Reese), I now focus on one project at one time and it does pay off.

I noticed that we never talked about #8 & #9. Anybody has good/bad experience on these 2 items?

Novice's are not the only ones to fall prey to these.

#2 is easily the biggest Newbie mistake of all.

Making money online is possible, but definitely not easy. At least, not easy until you've out in your time working your A** off!
