Can you help/tell me how to make changes to this wordpress theme

I need to make certain changes to a wordpress theme called lightword-design which is installed here: kanayorecommends.com/reviews/ I want to be able to add text and images to the right column of the page... can someone pls tell me how to do this. I have tried it myself but cant figure it out.

You an add a plain "Text" widget in your wp-admin.

Go to Appearance > Widgets and add the text widget. Inside that text widget you can add HTML or plain text.

you need basic html, css knowledge to customize your wordpress blog

 

You need to drag the text widget to the sidebar and add your text there. For images, you can install "Image Widget" ( search it on google ) and put up images on the sidebar...

 

I think u need of the text widget
