Google -950 or over optimization penalty?

I'm looking for information on the below phenomenon:

Has anyone been hit with Googles -950 or over optimization penalty?

This is when your site drops to the lower pages of Google's search results.

For example, lets say you were ranking 2nd for "blue widgets" then all of a sudden BOOM your on page 67.

You still show up for Site:bluewidgets.com but all your keyword phrases are ranking at the back of the serps.

If you have experienced this... what tips and advice can you give other webmasters.

Google bombing? You can not put a lot of links with identical anchor. 3-6 months

 

It lasts minimum 1 month if you are so lucky. One of the reasons can be wrong optimization rather than over optimization. Immediately stop buying links and hire a person who really knows what is an optimization.

This is natural its called competition.Try to build links the only penalty from google is deindex everything else is just competion,also there are some factors that can burst a sites traffic ,its normal ,G does it to give a chance to new websites and i do not mean newly registered domains is more complex.I have been testing and searching and doing a lot of things for 2 years about google penalties and not a sign of them,build links google works with 9 months periods,try to do whatever youo can in these 9 month period

 

Typically hen something like that happens, it's because one of hte big, key backlinks supporting that page that was a PR4+ link has dissapeared. Like tera suggested, just build links and it sohuld eventually work itself out.
