Hi, I have 2 sites mortgageadvicecenter.co.uk and quotewire.co.uk. The mortgage site i have had for 5 years years and get about five quality leads a week which i consistently make profit from ..all organic seo, although not that much seo has been done. Quote wire is a new site. I am looking to market these sites in a profitable manner. We will either do the business ourselves as we are financial advisors or we will sell the leads on. We are fully regulated advisors so we have access this market. It is a very competitive market but there is still leverage to get traffic within the finance sectors. If anyone has any ideas then please let me know. We will look at joint ventures or any legitimate plans to market the site. Regards
If you are dealing with a more local audience, why not write articles for the local newspapers for free. Otherwise, have you tried guest blogging? There are plenty of websites that can hook you up with guest blogging opportunities.
If you're getting five quality leads a week through little SEO, why not do a little bit more SEO work. It would seem that the marginal benefits would be a lot greater than the marginal costs in your case.
It will definitely helps to do regular stuff like writing articles, submitting directories, blogging, twitting, facebook, etc. All these will eventually bring in traffic. One thing I always believe in doing it for long term business.
I would recommend getting a professional SEO company to advice you and offer some options to increase hits on your site. Building back links will quickly build up hits as the domains have been around for some time now.
