    you can create it in setting and go to edit signature. and you are allowed to put up to 2 links

    Your signature is the text or links that appear below all of your postings. Different forums have different policies regarding the signature. For example, few allows you to create signatures after 10 postings, few after 15 and so on.

    Yes it can help backlinks somwhat but I wouldn't soley rely on forum sigantures linking back to your site or you won't have a very strong link profile in my opinion.

    Your signature appears under posts in forums and is a good way of attracting both traffic and links. Different forums have different rules with some you have to have posted so many posts to avoid people spamming the forums whilst others allow you to post almost anything. For DP forums you can change your signature from your profile page.
