Crawler and spider both are same. And Caching is done when they come to your site and crawl them.

Crawler and Spider are bots or programs that get through the websites to read all it's content (but not necessary all of them). They're apparently the same thing although a crawler might not always form a WEB like Spiders do. ;P Which caching are the image like data that was "fortunately" captured or carried back by these crawlies whenever they visit your website. An example of that is this one http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...days&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&source=www.google.com

web crawler, web spider, web robot, ant, bot, worm, and automated indexer are same for search engines. caches helps out a user's web browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla and Netscape.

Crawler and Spider: Both are programme and they use to collect content from the internet by Search Engines.Spiders are use to collect data from the different sources over internet and finding relevant data which matches the query submit by searcher or user, after getting huge data spider may submit it to their index server.
Cache: Cache means search engines normally Google takes a snapshot of the website and keep it store in their data base to examine that this page matches for the queries by users or not.

Robots, Crawler, Spiders, Bots, Search engine crawling programs etc are the name of a program that search engine use to crawl the websites and reach at those pages whose links are on the current page it's crawling so that it can have them in their database to provide good SERP results.

Cache is a snapshot of a webpage taken by crawler, you can check it by a simple command on google just write "cache:yourdomainname" and you can see the result i.e. the last cached page, if you have a dynamic page then you may see a different page, because currently the data on that page may have changed because it it dynamic.
