Indexed In Google But Not Ranking

Hey Guys,

i have set up a website in the " slot gaming " niche.
The site consists of about 30 pages, written by a seo content writer with a high keyword density.

After 1 week beeing online im indexed and ranked by all major searchengines except google!

Google has indexed my website (about 30 pages in the index yet) but does not rank it for any keyword or phrase, i also can copy past full sentences and dont get the website shown up.

On yahoo, bing and lycos i already rank on the 1st page for my keywords.

Am i just impatient or could there be serius issues?

getting indexed != getting ranked

 

It all takes time,after just one week no way will you be at the top above other sites that have been online for say years,just keep working at building the backlinks and promoting the site and gradually over time it will start to perform better.

 

It will take some weeks/month before you rank for your keywords.
You must slow begin to build links with different anchor`s.

 

the above quote is true.. bt it should be much more said taht getting indexed could be done through the keyword specific rankings...

 

If your website has only been up for one week, don't be too concerned about your ranking position.

 

i think your website may be kept under google sandbox, so dont worry just keep on doing your link building works your website will surely be ranked in google as well.

 

just keep your link building and adding high quality content on it ...

 

yeah, focus on your website and keep the quality and freshness up, Google will come running soon enough!

 

get some quality links to your site! - make sure your title tags are correct, seo some long tail keywords. you wont rank if there is high competition on your keyword phrases

 

Ya, because without backlinks - you'll never rank well.

 

well first of all I will have to say that website ranking requires a certain domain age too...so you need to be a bit patient and yes backlinks are the most important factor which will have an impact on your website ranking...

 

It does take time. Also you should make sure you build backlinks everyday. OnSite SEO is equally important as off site SEO

 

Richie said right Indexing != Keyword Serp ranking and if your targeted keywords are high on Competitions then u should wait just because its not easy to get rank in Google

 

you need to build back links with anchor text.

 

You will have a lot of fluctuation in rank with google for a while there ranks are unstable for the first three or four weeks then the rank starts to settle in just be patient and monitor your rank for the next week or so if you don't come up in rank then look in to your seo and make sure everything looks like it should. In the mean time start trying to build back links to your page.

Apart from building back links another important factor that really counts is pinging your back link.Although it can sandbox your site but if done properly it can pay rich dividends.Let me know if you want to know how to ping back your backlinks and I will show on this thread a easy way to ping the backlinks.

As the others said, the site will begin to stabilize after a month or so.

 

ranking will take time and quality backlinks and so on. So you have to be patience for getting ranking.

 

It's always hard to rank in google with high competitive keyword. To get rank from google you need more quality authority site backlinks.
