Google's algorithm is top secret and worth billions of dollars. Do not think you will get it by asking in a free forum

I believe they have changed profile backlinks to social "me" status.. meaning they are devalued because of self promotion.

Yea I agree vihutuo, keeping upto date on what changes Google makes to their Algorithm is a good idea. You can find alot of information at Google Webmaster Central and Matt Cutts Blog on the latest happenings at Google. GWC can also can be found on youtube with a wealth of videos to help you.

Yeah it all seems a little creepy that you're trying to please a machine, try and please the people who you should be pleasing in the first place which are the people that'll be using your website. If they like what you do and your site then they'll most likely reward you buy sharing your lsite on other sites and giving you natural backlinks.

    What's LSI?

Anyway, I agree that there really is nothing you can do SEO wise.

Keep making quality content, getting quality links, and that's it, really. Make sure your site is readable and easy to navigate, and that's all you need to worry about for SEO. There really is nothing amazing you can do that will improve your ranking dramatically compared to another website with same quality&quantity of articles

In the unlikely event that some posting at DP knows the Google algorithm, it is even less likely that they will share it; it is even less likely still that they would share it for free. In conclusion, it's not very likely.

    Google's Score = (Kw Usage Score * 0.3) + (Domain * 0.25) + (PR Score * 0.25) + (Inbound Link Score * 0.25) + (User Data * 0.1) + (Content Quality Score * 0.1) + (Manual Boosts) - (Automated & Manual Penalties)

Keep one thing in your mind that whatever changes they brings in algo they will always give attention to quality and content. So concentrate on that
