Refresher, I appreciate the sentiment behind it, but this is a very good rate for many non-western or first-world people ( I know cause I am from India too). Note that there is another thread here right now which is offering American writers 1 cent per word - this particular offer is closer to half a cent per word. If US writers can work for 1 cent, with the income difference between the two countries there will be many Indian writers who will work for half that. At least this is not $1 per 500 word article. [ 100 Rs is more like $2.25]

[ I just calculated that with PayPal fees and PayPal's atrocious exchange rate, I get only $93 for every $100 sent to me, calculated at the market exchange rate. This particular offer approaches almost half that rate]

Having said that, nationality does not matter when you are working at a project - only the quality matters; and every writer should strive to get the highest rate they can, while also working at the best quality and throughput. Best of luck to all who work at this rate or higher!

 

Thank Heavens someone said that. And they are the ones to complain about bad quality. I have over 40 clients who pay me 2.50 per 100 words and cant get enough of it
