wow, what a pointless thread.

Im sure if something you wanted to join, but wasnt offered at your country, you would make a post about it also. You know what would fix this? Quit reading the threads where the topic is 'when will we be able to join', etc.

Great approach to life, "killakown". If there's a problem, don't try to solve it, just ignore it and maybe, if we ignore it hard enough, it'll go away.

 

Just as YPN has the right to not accept publishers not in the US, members have the right to ask when they will, and if they over do it then the mods will take care of it. End of story.

Do you search google for lets say 'windows XP' and you click on a link which is 'Windows 98', do you complain to the webmaster because their are too many 'windows 98' websites?

So whats the matter when having some threads in a forum called 'YPN Publisher' and theres people asking 'when will it be out of the US?'

Or maybe you complain to news stations because they all have the exact same news on them.

Its pretty much the same thing, expect the forum one can be somewhat concidered 'spam', but thats up to the moderators. (You search google and you get a lot of spam sites about the topic your searching).


Its also funny your bringing in 'life' considering we are talking about posts in a forum. Cause we all know life, and posts are technicaly the same.

what bothers us, is that it displays the exact same mentality spammers have. Instead of reading, mindlessly posting yet another YPN thread. If you want info, search the forum first. Or call Yahoo!

 

yes i agree that i also hate seeing the same topic/question over and over, but its not just something in the YPN forum, its in all of the forums here, and in all of the message boards on the internet.

Only reason i was 'kind of' upset with him because i've posted once before asking if anyone knew when it was going to be open in canada, and i dont really like being called a 'foreign webmaster'.

Anyways im going to stop posting here because im sure others are going to quote my post before this and say something, and I really dont want to get an infraction for what i might say (already had to hold back a comment)

killaklown, i did not mean to offend you by calling you a "foreign webmaster" but in my book and in YPN's opinion two you are a "foreign webmaster". But i want to hear opinions, this is a forum and we need DISCUSSION so please post your opinion!

I appreciate your ability ( i know I have not spelled this right, but cant remember how this should be written ) to market this issue, but you are repeating yourself, or your cominded fellows.
I think you definitelly know that IP adresses that point to Asia or Eastern Europe does not neccesarily mean scammers you "investigate" are phisically located there.

I am sure that 70 % of DP members ( same % for DP US based members ) have done marketing on MySpace.
Marketing on MySpace = SPAM.
We all know that but dont want to confess cause in that case most of us could call ourself SCAMMERS.

So, completelly wrong direction you pointed to try to explain why YPN is still not / never will be available to non US publishers and non US traffic.

I am sure that real reason is in complicated legal issues for payments, more spends.... and for traffic, smaller buying abilities of non US surfers.

And real,real reason is that YPN does not have enough of advertisers to run on number of US sites that are already accepted, and its system is still one big crap, so going any further than this they have now, would be real pain in ass for them in this momment.
