    The price is well studied, after the super bowl ad, godaddy will know exactly the potential of .CO as the consumer will not make decision based on price since it's the same for.com & .co. The decision will be based on personal preference, shortness, and availibility.

    but you can go for a .com as low as $7.49, but for .CO the cheapest is $11.99.. still a few dollar difference.

    Please note that this is a limited time offer by godaddy and this applies only on the first year of .CO registration.

    you could also buy a .CO domain and lose a percentage of your traffic to the dotcom - dont belive the hype, .co domains are craptastic and not worth the reg fees - stick with .me or .tv or even .info but stay far away from .co because as far as branding is concerned you will ALWAYS lose a percentage of your business to the .com

    I agree, but it is best to own both. What if someone mistypes the .com and puts .co instead? It might even be good to registrar .co domains to take traffic from bigger sites lol. Maybe I'll experiment.
