    Beautiful layout.
    What attracted my attention was a slower response page. Which is understandable given the 49 images, 9 css files and 8 scripts that load to the front page.
    Given the profile of your work, I should expect better optimization of the page.
    Load time of 18 sec for fast internet and even 180 sec for 56 k connection is not very representative.
    But it looks really beautiful.

    Agreed on the optimisation, although because we are still doing bits to it we are going to wait till its finished and then compress both the css and js. To be honest though because of all the large high quality images on the slider which makes up most of the load time, I cant see it making a huge difference. The majority of the layout images are in a sprite already.

    The CMS we use is one we built in house, as described and shown off in a screencast, on our site here - Engine Content Management System

    It looks pretty nice. Two things I would point out is that the text on the body looks a little too small imo and loading time wasn't as fast as visitors would want.
