Input on the best way to monitize a game / video ads networks

Hi I am about to put up an original game on my website and hoping to monitize directly from the game.

What i was hoping for is figuring out how to run ads the first time a user goes to play the game. I've seen many sites such as yahoo news etc.. that will play a 15-30 second video ad before the actual yahoo news video plays.

do any of you have this type of set-up? Also, which ad networks do you use for this and have they actually paid you your earnings?

    any input is appreciated. thanks

    Hey Kevin,

Check out Brightroll, VideoEgg (now named SayMedia), YuMe, AdapTV, TubeMogul and their competitors. Networks such as those are the ones that provide what you want. They have different names for different video actions. For example, I think what you're looking for is called a "Pre Roll" -- or something like that :)

    Hope this helps.

    - Jay
P.S. Feel free to say thanks if this has helped you

I've played games online where Ads have been shown before first few levels. I wonder if this was coded into the game or just an add-on.

Why don't you use affiliate networks? I know Clickbank is a good one to use.
