Nice tips Keith I have a question about "turn the Article into a Video" you use software for this? I have seen some softwares, but the result was not good..
1. PPC - If necessary 2. PPC + SEO - see above 3. Never invest anything. Try to make free SEO (forums, blogs, social media posting, articles, etc.) - Yes, but never spam 4. Buy or exchange links. - Rarely. Buying links is counterproductive in the long run and violates Google's Webmaster guidelines. Exchanges are OK as long as they make sense (links from similarly themed sites) 5. Content. - This should always be number one. If you have the best SEO in the world and rank highly for all your targeted keywords, it will be a huge waste of time and money if users get to your site and find nothing but crap. Market to people not search engines. 6. Build satelite micro-sites. - Very very rarely. Waste of time unless you are spamming 7. Use automated software. - never 8. A little bit of everything. - a little bit of everything that is legitimate and effective
Aside from what has been mentioned, I'm a big fan of viral marketing. This usually requires your marketing to be either funny, remarkable, containing some kind of secret or somewhat unusual. Youtube is a good medium to convey this. You can also create a provocative contest and get people to refer their friends.
Don't forget to collect subscribers as well. There is a lot of 'income loss' from high traffcc sites/blogs with no autoresponder for follow-up purposes...
As many different things as I can! 1) SEO company building links for my site 2) build my own links 3) submit to some directories each day. 4) share new listings on Facebook and Twitter pages 5) create email campaings
