Hey Everyone, How can you spread the word about your online business so you can get recognize? Whit out during any "spamming"

 

One of the biggest ways is to find forums in the niche your are marketing in, and join in on the discussion, offering advice, thoughts and comments that are relevant to the topic of discussion. Show that you are an expert in your niche this way. In order to sell online successfully, in any niche, you need to first get people to like you (through your friendly, conversational tone), then to trust you (through your authority, your expertise, coming through your answers). In your signature line, you will unobtrusively have your link to your offering. That way, you are providing value to the conversation without "spamming". Never join a forum and answer by saying "Check out my website...it'll solve your problem." Especially if you have never been in the forum before. The same rules apply when you post comments at blogs. The idea there is to find blogs in your niche, and post comments on their blog posts. Make sure the blogs are do-follow, so that the links follow back to your webpage. It would be especially great to be the first commentor on a fresh blog post, because everyone who follows the post will read your comment, and that will lead to traffic your way. You can add your site to Digg,Twitter, and Facebook this will give some high exposure to your site but as you have mentioned if you start to spam your site you will banned from them.

 

use youtube,social networkings, signature on your niche forum, buy banners, buy CPC, use any kind of online marketing (not spamming).

Create a Facebook page and invite your friends and have them invite their friends.
-invite those that have tons of friends already and are well connected
-provided good useful content on your page

Another great strategy is contacting another site in the same field (not direct a competitor) and ask them to email their client list in exchange for something (affiliate fee, generate content for their site)...this could lead to sales and more fans of your FB page.

 

PPC, Press Releases, Affiliate Systems are some popular methods to get the word out for your online business.

 

There's some good recommendations in the previous posts; personally I recommend supporting groups in your niche, providing good content on relevant forums and websites and keep putting your name and effort out there.

Do things subtly: use blogs, forums etc. Run contests on your own blog and ask contestants to refer their friends. Also, create videos/podcasts as well as ebooks for people to download. I've also heard some people creating free software for people to download.

With regards to forum posting ... always contribute to the discussions-at-hand. Don't post three-word replies and expect the other members to automatically respect your opinion! The best way to get what you want is to make sure that everyone else gets what THEY want first!

Great question. I would agree with the many suggestions people gave. Finding where your niche is online and reaching out to them through every avenue available: forums, social media, social news sites, etc (not through fake, spam-like methods but genuine dialogue will go a long way)

 

One good way is get on a forum, that is with your niche get to know people and tell them what you have to offer. Also Facebook and tweeter if you have accounts. This is a good way. Ask your friends to tell there friends and post it on there status for you.
You can try and use Cl or Kijiji maybe setup an auto respond but not spam your link have it as a sig at the bottom of your reply.
