Google news approved websites

Curious to see if any members here have google news approved websites. I would love to hear about the process of getting approved, how long it takes, how frequently you update your site, etc. Thanks!

 

I used to own one which I bought from eBay but have since sold it. What I understood was that there had to be more than one regular contributor and of course news and commentaries have to be of high standard.

 

You must have wordpress website
There is special theme for google news and u must used it
There must be more than 10 writers for your site
Atleast you must update 5+ times per day

 

For Google news approval your web site have latest and quality post. Google Google always go with reliability.

 

Unless the rules have changed in the past few months I didn't have a wordpress site, have 10+ writers or have 5+ updates and i got approved pretty quickly.

 

number of writers seem to be important for their approval, thats what i was told.

I'm not at all agree with your thoughts. But the fact is that
Google news has nothing to do with Wordpress
There is no special theme for Google news
It's true that we should have multiple author website, but 10 is not minimum requirement. You can get approved in Google news with 4-5 authors even
You should be updating your website on regular interval, but its not necessary to update your website 5 plus times in a day

I had the experience of including a website in Google news. So this is what I'm telling by experience

And if someone who had got the success in getting their websites in Google news, have some other views, please share

i think it depends on the niche. some niches can't approved by google news
