    Thank you. There are 24 in the list. Are there more sites? There are 500 bookmarking sites. I just can't figure out those that allow dofollow.

    Artificial link building won't help much.....

    Google can see spikes quite easily and a bunch of links from social bookmarking sites will look like a bunch of links from social bookmarking sites.

    I hope the SEO link in your sig is for someone who understands link schemes...;)

    In response to Google having eyes and seeing spikes, what then happens if you send out a Press Release and get lots of interest and subsequently links to you site, over for example a 1 month period?

    Does this then go against you?
    If so then how do you overcome this? How do you stagger it?

    About Google, sorry but I think Google is not as great as you think. There are lots (really lots) of websites get good PR and even SERPs with their grey hat link building (which is not hard to follow). Link schemes can be found here and there...
