Need Paypal QUESTIONS answered!

First of al i used a wrong name in the registration because i didn't trust paypal. I need to withdraw money from paypal, so i will need to add my bank account but i can't because the name of the paypal is no where near to my real name.

My questions are:

1) If i upgrade to a buisness account can i change the accounts name to my real name without supplying documents or proof so i can add my real bank account that will help me to withdraw my money?

2) I have a personal paypal account and i do SEO services. I havn't got a website and my business isn't registered and i revieve a large amount of $$$ because of my SEO service so what shall i do?

 

Please login your paypal account , after you choose contact us > name change and you flowing form , i did .

Yeah, i did that. I provided the documents and now i'm waiting patiently.

make one genuine paypal account and transfer the paypal money to that account , withdraw and close that old account.

there is no personal / premiere account diff now as all takes fees for each transaction.

u have static ip ? or dynamic ip with your isp ?

 

1) As far as I know, the answer is NO. You need to supply documents for a name change request.
2) I think you should upgrade your account to premier one. No need to go for a business account.

How can i get a premier account? When i click the 'upgrade' link in paypal it only comes up saying business accounts not premier?

EDIT: I think its because i live in the UK.

 

then its fine just restart ur pc modem with new ip and transfer to the money,withdraw and use new paypal account with all valid details

if you not give real data it could be problem next time when you face limitation , disputes etc

 

I have sent the documents 24 hours ago and i'm still waiting...

does anyone know how long will it take till my name is changed?

OK...I'll reply to this because I know PayPal really well and I have worked with a lot of their people over 5 years now. Now don't get all pissed off at me for saying this, but I cannot understand why you would use fake information because you don't trust them. Paypal is a good company and has been for a long time. The horror stories you hear online about frozen accounts are because of issues like this.

What they will probably do at this point is freeze that account. There is no way you can prove that it is yours by using a fake name in the first place. That isn't going to fly with them that now you want to change the accounts name to yours. They are probably going to tell you that you need to open a new account. They will lock this other account. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is one of those things they wont mess with.

Yeah you are right in one way because when i emailed them, they gave me two options.

1.To make a new paypal account with a unique email address and send the money to the new account and close the old account with the fake name.

2. Send the documents in (driving license, written confirmation and bill statement) so the fake name is changed.

However, i took option two because i got the email late and i don't really want to start again on a new account and accept high payments, i've had the paypal account for almost a year now with many sending and recieving transactions. Also, if i did take option i will probaly get flagged if i sent my old money to my new account with the same IP (large funds).
I went with option two and sent my documents witht he driving license etc.. all images are clear and are in high quality.

Now i'm just waiting till the documents get reviewed.
