Post the site to outsourced/freelance sites like Guru and Freelancer and you'll get dozens of estimates. Just be sure to review the portfolio of developer you're considering using because anyone can be a 'web developer' -- but you need to see the proof in their work :)

well, basically, I need this website: http://www.banffadventures.com/

it has some flash I assume in photo scroll just below the banner. I will also need the actual banner image created (a simple design is all that is required).

But I would be interested in seeing your $50 static... can you show me some examples?

@karthimx using the static templates, is it easy enough for a web developer to go in later and add flash?

I don't think you can get "quality' website design for only $50. Even offshore freelancers of Philippine and India aren't working that cheap (with quality of course).

I would say that the site might cost somewhere around $200+ if it has Flash in it and with clean CSS code.

    Good luck with the search.

There does not need to be Flash in the site at all. That image slider in the header is simple jQuery stuff.

Replicating the style and feel of that example site is fairly straight forward, and can be done fairly cheap. Additional charges will come with the graphical elements, notably the large sidebar buttons and the special "handwriting-like images" used for headings (although I know a dynamic way of producing those without having to open up Photoshop).

Banner images are one thing and can be done fairly cheap. But logo work, if required can be pretty expensive (but worth the investment). Logos generally need to be able to be used for other media besides the web, such as, brochures, business cards, yellow page ads, etc. It is best to hire that work out to an actual artist.

If you are offering some type of seasonal ski-packages (or whatever your business is) there will have to be a little custom database in the backend for easy revisions to be made. This is can be anywhere from simple to complicated depending on your needs.
