Earning 0.50 cents a day. From 3 ad units.

if you want to earn more consider a different ad placement. Or consider monetizing your forum in other ways. Perhaps an ebook or other affiliate product that caters to your forum's niche?

I would say you could easily be making $5 a day off of 1000UV/day. It obviously depends on what your website is and what niche its in, but you should consider changing things around to see if you can earn more. Want to give us a url so we can take a look?

Are the 1000 UV/day mostly returning traffic, or new traffic?

If they are returning visitors, the chances of them clicking on the ads is lower, so your ratio could be realistic.

However, I don't know how your ad units are placed, but you should put Ads in every thread of your forums, if it's not done already...

 

You cant expect high CTR from forum, get more traffic

 

have more ads unit and place it proper .... your current earning is really low and ur site have potential with the kind of traffic you are telling ..

 

DP is a forum also & i don't think we can't expect high CTR from forums ... Yup, it all depends on the traffic {mostly targeted traffic}

 

It depends on the content & the traffic. Without good content, you won't make much. Without traffic, you won't be able to earn.

You need to play with ads placement - You can also blend your ads in different colors to know what suits your forum better, You can see successfull forums which are related to your niche to get idea

You need better ad placement. You obiously have very bad ad placment. Copy what DP does with its ad placment and mabey choose a new template.

Also you might want to try other companies like chitika.
